Leave the hustle and bustle of city life behind with this 8.5 mile New York hiking experience. Hike to the head of Russian Bear, a tremendous boulder that once stood on the edge of the cliff above, but plummeted to the ground years ago.
This hike takes place in Harriman State Park, one of New York's largest green spaces. More than 200 miles of hiking trails around 30 lakes. Every inch offers stunning views of the mountains and valleys of the surrounding area.
Worried about getting to the park? No problem! Transportation to the trailhead from Manhattan is provided via van. From there, the group sets out on an intense all day adventure, crossing wooden bridges and climbing ancient stone steps
