Make sure you're fully prepared for your canopy tour by wearing appropriate clothing. Ladies, that means no skirts and no shorts high above the knee. Tours run rain or shine, so check the forecast and make sure you're dressed appropriately.
Please note that the zipline course is located inside of Lake Lanier Islands Resort, and a fee of $10 per vehicle is required for entry. There's lots to do once you're in, so plan your trip around this to make the most of your day!
Please make every effort to arrive at least half an hour before your tour is scheduled to depart. This gives you time to meet your guides, check in, use the restroom, and strap into your equipment.
Upon arrival, each participant must step on a scale to make sure everyone meets weight restrictions. This is for your safety and the safety of everyone else on the tour. Don't worry, this is a private affair - only a single member of our office staff will see your weight.
After the weigh in, it's time to sign a release waiver. If you're under 18 and not accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, bring a signed copy along with you. Finally, it's time to strap on your harness and set off on an insanely fun canopy tour adventure!
Riding a zipline is easy, fun, and safe. Use a gloved hand to grasp the line when you want to slow down and take in the scenery, or let go and take off for a smooth rush of speed. All of the gear is rated to support 5,000 pounds of weight, so there's no need to be nervous. If you're feeling hesitant, that's fine äóñ your friendly and helpful tour guides are on hand to help you build up the courage to take that first step. Once you're cruising smoothly over the ground, you'll be glad you did!
