There are only 2 vehicles on the track at any one time so you have no danger of running into another vehicle when you come over the ridge. Perfect for novice and veteran drivers alike, this off road experience in Orlando includes a full safety briefing. A waiver release must be signed on the day and safety equipment including helmets gloves and goggles will be provided for every customer. To drive the dune buggy, you must weigh less than 300lbs and be under 6'4" to fit into the seats.

The Can-Am Commander X Buggy is like no other vehicle on the market. It has a 976 cc V-twin engine with an automatic gear box and reverse function. Capable of speeds over 50 mph, it has a full 3 point harness seat belt for both driver and passenger and side netting for safety and comfort.

Tours take place all year round, seven days a week. Due to high demand, early booking is recommended.

Itinerary

• Safety Briefing

You will be briefed on the safety features of the Dune Buggy vehicle you will be riding, as well as a few other important rules to keep you safe.

• Safety Equipment       

Helmet, Gloves and Goggles are compulsory for all drivers and riders (residents are welcome to bring their own safety equipment as long as they comply with current DOT regulations).

• Training

Vehicle training takes place on a purpose built training area, set up in conjunction with the ASI (American Safety Institute).  You‚Äôll acquire the skills to ride safely on a Dune Buggy as well as learning techniques including stopping, starting, traversing, hill climbs and descents, cornering, braking and weight transference.

• Riding 

Start with a practice lap guided by your instructor then it’s your turn to tackle the track at your own pace. There’s no time limit so you are able to take your time and get the most from the experience.

• Finish

Sit back and relax as you look at the photos and share memories of your ride with other participants.
