If you've always wanted to handle a 500 horsepower stock car on a track that regularly plays host to real NASCAR events, this is your chance. After you absorb all the racing theory and safety information you need at a classroom driver's meeting, you're ready to suit up in the provided safety gear and hit the track. After a couple of warmup laps to get a feel for the car, you're ready to open the throttle for the time of your life. Hear the V8 engine roar as you power around South Sound Speedway and get a taste of life as a professional race driver. Feel the excitement of sitting behind the wheel and passing other drivers on the track. These lightweight NASCAR-style late model cars are fast and simple to operate, featuring powerful Chevrolet crate motors, 10-inch racing slicks, and manually-shifted automatic transmissions. Drivers must be aged 18 years and over and have a valid driver's license. All racing suits, helmets and safety equipment are provided.
Race cars do not have doors. All drivers must have the ability to climb through a 15" high by 28" wide window that sits 35" from the ground. Must be at least 5' tall and maximum height 6'4". Waist and chest can be no bigger than 52".
