Nestled in the woods of western Washington, this 3/8 mile paved oval offers a tough test for even the most tenacious driver. If you've ever wondered what it's like to drive a real stock car previously used in actual NASCAR events, this is your chance to find out. After attending a driver's meeting to get up to speed on racing theory, it's time to test your mettle. Climb into the drivers seat, buckle up, and stand on the throttle. Feel the thrust of a 500-horsepower V8 pressing you against your seat as the scenery begins to blur. With the smell of gas in your nostrils and the sound of pure American muscle ringing in your ears, you'll feel the freedom that comes with total control over tremendous power.
Hear the V8 engine roar as you power around South Sound Speedway and get a taste of life as a professional race driver. Feel the excitement of sitting behind the wheel and passing other drivers on the track. These lightweight NASCAR-style late model cars are fast and simple to operate, featuring powerful Chevrolet crate motors, 10-inch racing slicks, and manually-shifted automatic transmissions. Drivers must be aged 18 years and over and have a valid driver's license. All racing suits, helmets and safety equipment are provided.
Race cars do not have doors. All drivers must have the ability to climb through a 15" high by 28" wide window that sits 35" from the ground. Must be at least 5' tall and maximum height 6'4". Waist and chest can be no bigger than 52".
