p>I was fortunate enough to be born in the sunny state of California where, from an early age, I spent as much time as possible in the great outdoors. Whether it was trekking, horse riding or kayaking, I've been addicted to a life of adventure for as long as I can remember. As I progressed in my activities I joined numerous clubs and increasingly got involved in their administration and running. More and more I found myself writing reports and updates on weekend events and excursions. And more and more I found I loved the combination of being involved and talking about the pastimes I loved. I read journalism at university and quickly matched my hobbies with my studies throughout my college life. At Great American Days I combine my love for adventure and activities and the written word as part of the copywriting team. When I'm not writing about the latest activity we have to offer, I"m out visiting our vendors and partaking in a new experience as much as I can.
