Where does this experience take place?
This exciting driving experience is held on a purpose-built autocross course constructed for the event.
What is the track length? How long can I expect to be actually driving?
Autocross courses are around one mile in length. The whole experience lasts for 30 minutes, including registration, vehicle selection, introduction, driving, and photo pick-up. The actual driving time on the course will take around 5 minutes to complete, depending on your driving style. The experience is competitively priced, designed to provide an exciting taster behind the wheel of an exotic car.
What is an autocross course?
Autocross is a form of motorsports that emphasizes safe competition and active participation. An autocross is a timed competition in which drivers navigate one at a time through a defined course on either a sealed or an unsealed surface. Autocross differs from road racing and oval racing in that generally there is only one car on the track, racing against the clock rather than other cars. Autocross courses feature many tight twists and turns as well as straights and are designed to really showcase the performance and handling of your exotic car.
Do I need to know how to use gears?
You do not need to be able to drive stick. All cars used on the day are fitted with a "tiptronic"-style semi-automatic transmissions ('F1' in the Ferraris and 'e-Gear' in the Lamborghinis), so you'll be able to drive like a pro no matter what.
What is the minimum age to participate?
All drivers must be 21 or older to drive. Under 21s wishing to participate are able to take part in ride-along experiences (depending on location), during which a professional driver pilots the car at speed around the track.
Can someone ride in the car with me?
Unfortunately passengers are not permitted on the day. A professional instructor accompanies every driver on the day, and all of the vehicles used during the event are 2-seaters.
Can I record the experience?
A professional photographer will be on site during the day to capture the experience and photos will be available to purchase at the end. However you can bring your own camera to record the experience.
What if it rains?
This experience takes place rain or shine. In the event the weather is too dangerous, the supplier will contact you and work out a rescheduling plan.
What if I need to reschedule?
Once booked with our supplier, you will fall under their terms and conditions. With that being said, you would contact them to reschedule. Terms and conditions are outlined in the confirmation you will receiving.
