Browse our range of indulgent and exciting experiences via the menu on your left. Once you've selected your gift, simply follow the prompts in the shopping cart, remembering to choose your preferred delivery method as well as adding any personal messages you would like to include with your gift certificate.


2. WHAT'S IN OUR GIFT PACK?

Every Great American Days gift certificate comes in a great looking pack containing everything your recipient needs to know from 'How to get there' to 'How to book'.


3. BOOKING A DATE

We do the hard work so you don't have to. Your gift recipient chooses a time and date to enjoy their experience by calling Great American Days toll free at 866-987-9876. And if for some reason your gift recipient wishes to change their experience for something else, we'll happily exchange any gift for another experience in our range.

4. VALIDITY
Gift Certificate Validity

This gift voucher is valid for a period of one (1) year from the date of issue except where otherwise stated by law. Gift vouchers are not redeemable for cash except where required by law. It cannot be replaced if lost or stolen or used without your permission. Great American Days, Inc. is not responsible for lost or stolen vouchers; risk of loss and title of gift voucher passes to purchaser on transfer. You may not assign, delegate or subcontract this Agreement without GAD’s prior written consent. Any purported assignment in violation of this provision shall be voidable at GAD’s option, and shall be grounds for immediate termination of this Agreement.

Gift Card Validity (Sold in Stores Only)

Great American Days gift cards, as sold in CVS or Walgreens, do not expire.  Cards also are not redeemed for dormancy fees.  Some cards state that there will be a dormancy fee of $2, but this is void in accordance to the law.

How do I choose an activity?
You can search by price and/or location and/or activity type using the quick search on the left of every page. Alternatively you can browse through the categories we have in the menu on the left of this page and see everything available. To get an accurate price you will be prompted to select a location for your activity.

Can I get my gift pack and gift certificate personalized?
On every gift certificate you can add a ‘to’, ‘from’ and personal message that is printed directly onto your gift certificate and make this amazing gift even more special.

What is in my gift pack?
You gift pack contains your gift certificate for the requested activity including your personalized message. It also contains an information pack specifically about that activity, full booking instructions and guide for the recipient on what to do next. This is all presented in a gift folder to make the perfect present

How long does it take for the gift pack to arrive?
Our default shipping is FedEx Ground and this has a standard cost of $10 per address for our gift pack. All packages are tracked and will be delivered nationwide within five business days of shipping. If you require your package faster we can courier your gift pack by FedEx 2-day, Standard Overnight or Priority Overnight for an additional charge.  Packages are processed at 2 PM EST each day.  Orders placed after this time will be shipped the following business day.  During the holiday period the delivery time may be extended by FedEx at their discretion.  Free email certificates are also available.

Can I have the gift pack sent to a different address?
Absolutely. We will send the gift pack to any address you specify.

If I cannot decide what to buy someone can I let them choose?
Yes. We have a Choose Your Own Category where the recipient will be given a gift certificate of a value decided by you and they can then exchange this against anything on the site.

Are there any additional costs?
All costs displayed include full sales tax and the only additional cost is for shipping and handling.

What types of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards. We accept e-checks and even personal checks or money orders by mail. Please do not send cash. If you use these methods your gift pack will not be dispatched until payment has cleared. We also accept reward points from many major credit cards and our customer service team can help with any of these.

Where do your activities take place?
Our activities take place across the U.S. When you are looking at an activity you will be prompted for a location, only locations close to where the activity is available will be displayed. The location bar only displays major cities but upon choosing the location the next page will tell you exactly where the activity is. We have activities in these locations and hundreds more across the country. If you are unable to find a suitable location or activity please contact Customer Service and they can search our database of over 6,000 activities and find one that is suitable for you.

When do they take place?
We run our activities as often as possible, some such as spa experiences can run year round but others such as ballooning are seasonal.

Do you do corporate days out and group activities for special occasions?
Many of our activities are regularly used for this as can be seen in our corporate services section. We will always tailor the event to meet your exact needs

Are there physical restrictions I need to consider before buying an activity?
Some of our activities do have requirements and these can be seen online. If you ever have any questions please contact our customer services team toll free on 1-866-987-9876 and they can answer them for you

Are they safe and fully insured?
We only work with the best suppliers in the nation who have exemplary safety and customer services records. All activities are fully insured and have operating standards that exceed the government’s highest safety recommendations. We have never had an accident or injury. Ever.

What happens if I give to this as a gift and the recipient wants to do a different activity?
We are happy to exchange the gift certificate for any other activity on the website. A charge may be applicable if there is a price difference but our Customer Services team will help with all this.

Can you arrange something special for me?
If you want to do something very special and you cannot find it on the list of things we do we will happily organize this for you at no extra cost. All our activities have a price guarantee

I’ve got a Great American Days gift pack, what do I do now?
You should read the Booking Instructions that came with your gift pack and then contact Great American Days toll free on 1-866-987-9876 to schedule your activity as detailed in the gift pack.

How do I choose a date for my activity?
You simply need to choose a date and contact our customer service team. Please do not make or confirm any travel arrangements until your activity has been confirmed in writing by our customer service representatives.

What dates are available for my activity?
Your booking instructions should contain full information on the available dates for each activity. Alternatively you can call Great American Days customer service. Many activities such as ballooning and whitewater rafting are seasonal but our service representatives can advise you of this.

I have a gift certificate; can my friends do the activity with me?
Yes. We can add additional participants at the time of scheduling.

I know where I want to go; can I just turn up there with my Great American Days gift certificate?
No. You must always follow the booking and information instructions carefully and schedule your activity in advance

I have several gift certificates, can I combine them?
Yes. The value of gift certificates can be combined to buy an activity of a greater value

Can I do multiple activities with one gift certificate?
Yes. If the value of your chosen activity is less than the value of your gift certificate you retain the remaining balance to use on an additional activity at a time of your choosing.

I lost my gift certificate, can I get a replacement?
Gift certificates should be treated as cash since they cannot be replaced.

Can I give my gift certificate to someone else?
Yes. Gift certificates are fully transferable.

I don’t want to do the activity listed on my Great American Days gift certificate, can I do something different?
We are happy to exchange the value of your gift certificate towards any other activity on the website. A charge may be applicable if there is a price difference but our Customer Services team will help with all this.

After I have scheduled my activity, can I move the date?
Once you have scheduled your activity you will be bound by the terms and conditions of the operator with whom you will be going. A copy of these will be included in your confirmation pack.

What happens if there is bad weather on the day of my Great American Days activity?
You should always travel to the activity unless contacted and advised otherwise by Great American Days or the operator. Our professional operators will decide if the activity can take place. If you decide not to show due to bad weather and the activity takes place you will forfeit your reservation without refund. If your activity is postponed due to inclement conditions the operators will reschedule it for a mutually agreeable date.
