Witness some of the largest Great White Sharks in the world as they prepare for their long migration across the Pacific Ocean. Thousands of congregating mammals provide a feeding ground during Fall and natural ‘feeding events’ are common on these tours. Watching a shark feed is an experience you will not forget - a primitive act that is a natural part of the marine life cycle.
You’ll be closer to the sharks than you ever thought possible on a voyage of discovery that provides an unforgettable insight into this awesome and often misunderstood creature. During your trip you will encounter an abundance of marine life and have the chance to view animals including whales, porpoises as well as a wide variety of sea birds.
Head to South East Farallon Island during Fall when thousands of marine mammals congregate to breed and calve their young. This natural occurrence attracts some of the largest Great White Sharks in the world over an 8 week period.
The shark encounter is run by expert crews with an emphasis on respect for the animals encountered and their marine environment. The tour lasts for around 12 hours and includes continental breakfast, hearty unch, beer, wine and snacks.
To coincide with the Shark migration patterns, trips run from mid-September to mid-November. Tours take place Wednesday through Sunday.
