Great White Shark Encounter, The Farallon Islands

Head to South East Farallon Island during Fall when thousands of marine mammals congregate to breed and calve their young. This natural occurrence attracts some of the largest Great White Sharks in the world over an 8 week period.

The shark encounter is run by expert crews with an emphasis on respect for the animals encountered and their marine environment.  All diving equipment is provided on the day as well as breakfast, lunch, drinks and snacks.

Trips run annually from mid-September to mid-November to coincide with the Shark migration patterns. Tours take place Wednesday through Sunday
