Start your adventure at the top of beautiful Mt Soledad where you'll drink in breathtaking views across San Diego city before embarking on a thrilling descent into Pacific Beach for an amazing ride along the San Diego coastline! Check out the war memorial and controversial cross on Mt. Soledad, visit Crystal Pier, the Pacific Beach Boardwalk, Mission Bay, Windansea Beach, and La Jolla Cove. Stop to see the seals at the Children's Pool and trek down the 144 steps into Sunny Jim's Cave at the historical Cave Store.
After lunch and a short break, you'll enjoy a magical tour by kayak over the rocky reefs within the Ecological Reserve to visit the La Jolla Sea Caves and Kelp Forest. Paddle above the harmless leopard sharks and also witness Garibaldi, sea lions, and even the occasional dolphin.

You need to have reasonable stamina and be in good health for both the bike and kayak tours. Although no previous kayak experience is necessary, all participants must be able to swim.
Start your tour on top of beautiful Mt. Soledad with its 52 foot cross and amazing panoramic views of San Diego. Bike down the south side of Mt. Soledad into Pacific Beach and Mission Bay. Stop along the way for sightseeing and photo opportunities before riding along the quaint back streets of La Jolla to check out the luxurious homes and stunning cliffs.
Next up, it's over to the village of La Jolla and the Children's Pool for a close up view of the seals. After a break for lunch, it’s time to kick off your kayaking adventure with a brief paddling instruction and kayak maneuvering lesson. Paddle over to La Jolla's magnificent sea caves and learn all about the geography, terrain, and wildlife within the Ecological Reserve. Kayak out to the Kelp Beds to see sea lions, seals, dolphin, and other marine life before traveling to the sandy flats to kayak above the harmless leopard sharks.
