Gentle waves break far off shore ensuring great surfing conditions year round. Beginners are handled with care and instructed in water safety, surfboard handling, paddling, training, popping up and riding. Advanced surfers will gain expert advice from professional instructors, experienced in the world's wildest conditions - from Australia to Hawaii.

This fantastic surfing lesson can be tailored for your skill level and is suitable for beginners and more advanced surfers. Spectators are welcome to come and watch from the shore. Lessons take place in a fantastic location in Santa Monica - one of the best places to learn in LA - where waves break gently, far offshore, no matter what the ocean conditions. You'll learn as part of group which means you'll have fun while making new friends. Classes are small with a minimum ratio of 5 participants to one instructor. It is essential that you are a competent swimmer to enjoy this activity.
Lessons are available every day except Sunday during the Summer Season (July 1st to Labor Day). Saturday classes are held at 8am and weekday classes are at 2.15pm. During the Winter Season, classes are held on Saturdays only at 10am.

On the day, you will be welcomed by your instructor and kitted out in your gear. Classes are broken into smaller groups according to ability which ensures the lesson is tailored to each student's ability.
Lessons last for 1 hour and 45 minutes and comprise a mixture of technical practice on shore and practical instruction in the water
