Set off on the ultimate high-octane zipline adventure. This tour features the highest, fastest, and longest ziplines anywhere on Lake Lanier. With four lines over 1,000 feet long and a dual racing line that's more than a 1/4 mile, this is the aerial thrill ride of a lifetime. Each of the 7 ziplines on this tour offers breathtaking views of the lake, and the scenery is just as stimulating as the ride.
When you're more than seven stories from the ground, nothing is more important than safety. That's why each tour is led by a team of professional and experienced guides. You'll always be strapped in with redundant safety equipment rated to over 5,000 pounds. Keep in mind that reaching that platforms requires you to climb about 300 spirals stairs in total, but never more than 50 at once. You'll have plenty of time to catch your breath, and the climb is worth the reward.
Feel the rush of flight with this zipline canopy tour. No other outdoor experience compares.
Make sure you're full prepared for your canopy tour by wearing appropriate clothing. Ladies, that means no skirts and no shorts high above the knee. Tours run rain or shine, so check the forecast and make sure you're dressed appropriately.
Please note that the zipline course is located inside of Lake Lanier Island Resort, and a fee of $15 per vehicle is required for entry. There's lots to do once you're in, so plan your trip around this to make the most of your day!
Please make every effort to arrive at least a half an hour before your tour is scheduled to depart. This gives you time to meet your guides, check in, use the restroom, and strap into your equipment.
Upon arrival, each participant must step on a scale to make sure eveyone meets weight restrictions. This is for you safety and the safety of everyone else on the tour. Don't worry, this a private affari - only a single member of our office staff will see your weight.
After the weigh in, it's time to sign a release waiver. If you're under 18 and not accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, you'll have to bring a signed copy along with you. Finally, it's time to strap on your harness and set off an insanely fun canopy tour adventure!
Riding a zipline is easy, fun, and safe. Use a gloved hand to grasp the line when you want to slow down and take in the scenery, or let go and take off for a smooth rush of speed. All of the gear is rated to support 5,000 pounds of weight, so there's no need to be nervous. If you're feeling hesitant, that's fine - your friendly and helpful tour guides are on hand to help you build up the courage to take the first step. Once you're cruising smoothly over ground, you'll be glad you did!
