Enjoy a thrilling eco-adventure in beautiful Austin Texas as you fly at exhilarating speeds through a Cyrpress lined creek ravine. Immerse yourself in a lush, leafy canopy of old growth cypress trees, some up to 100 feet tall and see the world as never before. Glide on a network of steel zip lines, up to 350 feet long, as you swing from platform to platform, high in the treetops.
Feel revived and invigorated as you get back to nature 40 feet high in the tree tops. This unique adventure provides an adrenaline rush like no other and a chance to experience the local ecology from an exciting bird's eye view.
The tour takes place in a Cypress lined creek ravine. Participants cross the ravine on zip lines and sky bridges. The course includes three sky bridges and 6 zip-lines; the longest is over 350 feet, and most launch and land in platforms up to 40 feet high in the trees.
The tour is designed for participants of good to moderate health with an approximate weight range from 70 to 250 pounds. You should be able to climb stairs unassisted. Pregnant women, people with heart, leg, or back problems, or other serious illness are advised not to participate in this experience. Children, ages 10 to 17, are welcome when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian
Tours are offered from 9am to dusk, Tuesday to Sunday during Spring, Summer and Fall. Canopy tours are not available during November, December, January and February.
Itinerary
- Meet the guides
- Safety and general briefing
- Get harnessed in climbing gear
- Pause at the first platform to get used to the heights and take in the sights
- Tour at your own speed through the canopy, pausing to take in views
- Return to base camp in an electric cart
After your canopy zip tour, enjoy a picnic and swimming at a private lake where you can share your adventure with family and friends.
