Classes are conducted under the expert guidance of Donald Freking. Donald Freking received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ceramics from the University of Iowa in 1988. Currently he owns and operates the Donald Freking Pottery in Cartersville, GA. The studio and gallery that stands today was built in 1941 and was known as the Georgia Art Pottery founded by the late Bill Gordy.
The gallery is open to the public Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00am to 5:00pm and by appointment on Sunday and Monday. Classes take place on regular pre-selected dates throughout the year.
