Spend a whole day driving a highly tuned stock car at one of NASCAR'S most famous tracks. Slide into the driver's seat for 70 blisteringly hot laps at the infamous Stockton 99 Speedway and enjoy a day designed to totally immerse you in the world of the stock car driver.
Instructors will arm with the tools you'll need to handle both the race proven stock car and this most demanding of race tracks but behind the wheel, it's just you, the car and your raw driving skill. Close your eyes and try to imagine that feeling as, in full race gear and on the start line, you fire up the mighty V8 engine and unleash 500 horsepower of pure racing machine.
With the day's driving split into three high speed driving sessions, pit time and instruction, you'll soon be seeing your speeds increase and lap times drop like a stone. And with a ton of real racing scenarios, you'll be feeling every inch the stock car driving champion.
Hear the V8 engine roar as you power around Stockton 99 Speedway and get a taste of what it is like to be a pro racing driver. Feel the excitement of sitting behind the wheel and passing the other drivers on the track.
All cars are actual race cars previously used in the NASCAR Nextel Cup, including the Chevrolet Monte Carlos, Pontiac Grand Prix, Ford Taurus and Dodge Charger
Drivers must be aged 18 years and over and have a valid driver's licence. All racing suits, helmets and safety equipment are provided.
Itinerary:
- Registration on arrival
- Classroom instruction covering the car and racing techniques
- Get suited up into your racing gear
- Narrated van ride around the track to show you the racing line
- Practice laps to get you and the car warmed up
- 70 race laps with you in full control of the car
