Get ready for the ultimate stock car drive day at the legendary Stafford Motor Speedway, Connecticut’s famous ½ mile oval asphalt track where many of the heroes of NASCAR honed their craft.
You’ll be driving an authentic race primed stock car for an incredible 70 laps and will find out just what these gas guzzling monsters can really do in authentic race conditions.
Race seasoned instructors and pit crew will arm you with all the racing theory you need, but alone in that dream machine and out on the track, it'll just be you and your raw instinct. You can't even begin to imagine the thrill as you rev that mighty V8 engine into life before unleashing 500 horsepower of pure racing fury onto the track! As you eat up the laps, you'll see your speeds rise and lap times drop. This is real racing and is as authentic as it gets!
In between racing sessions, you’ll be coached by your instructors and will be amazed at how you gain in confidence and ability throughout the day. Watch in awe as you swoop off the banks and reach speeds that you never thought possible.
This is a driving adventure that leaves all others on the starting grid. You’re feet won’t touch the ground for weeks!
You’ll drive NASCAR style Late Models at Stafford Motor Speedway where many of the great stars of NASCAR learned and honed their craft. There’s a reason why the drivers at NASCAR’s highest level look forward to going to NASCAR’s shortest tracks, and many of them sneak away on their off weekends to go back and race a NASCAR style Late Model at a short track. It’s the sensation of speed and the lightning quick reflexes that combine to make short track racing such an exciting racing experience.
In 1997, Stafford Motor Speedway resurfaced the entire 1/2 mile speedway. A multipurpose Media Facility stands sentry over the famous half mile and the track is completely wired for national Television coverage.
Drivers must be aged 18 years and over and have a valid driver's licence. All racing suits, helmets and safety equipment are provided.

Itinerary:
- Registration on arrival
- Classroom instruction covering the car and racing techniques
- Get suited up into your racing gear
- Narrated van ride around the track to show you the racing line
- Practice laps to get you and the car warmed up
- 70 race laps with you in full control of the car
- Racing is divided into session with pit stops and briefings in between
