Based at the awesome Stafford Motor Speedway, have you got the driving skills and nerve to handle 50 high speed laps behind the wheel of a real stock car that’s packing 500 horsepower under the hood?

Instructors will arm you with all the tools you need to handle both the track and racing machine, but once you're behind the wheel of one of these beauties, it'll be just you and your driving skills! Imagine it now, you're on the start line in full race gear and helmet. You slam the pedal hard to the metal and launch your racing thoroughbred onto the track. The only sound you hear is the thunder of the awesome V8 racing engine as it powers you towards the checkered flag.

You’ll drive NASCAR style Late Models at Stafford Motor Speedway where many of the great stars of NASCAR learned and honed their craft. There’s a reason why the drivers at NASCAR’s highest level look forward to going to NASCAR’s shortest tracks, and many of them sneak away on their off weekends to go back and race a NASCAR style Late Model at a short track. It’s the sensation of speed and the lightning quick reflexes that combine to make short track racing such an exciting racing experience.

In 1997, Stafford Motor Speedway resurfaced the entire 1/2 mile speedway. A multipurpose Media Facility stands sentry over the famous half mile and the track is completely wired for national Television coverage.

Drivers must be aged 18 years and over and have a valid driver's licence. All racing suits, helmets and safety equipment are provided.

- Registration on arrival

- Classroom instruction covering the car and racing techniques

- Get suited up into your racing gear

- Narrated van ride around the track to show you the racing line

- Practice laps to get you and the car warmed up
