Satisfy your need for speed with 50 hot racing laps behind the wheel of a car that’s actually competed in the NASCAR Sprint Cup at Gateway Motorsports Park, a 1.5 mile high banked D-shaped oval track that’s a firm favorite with the pros of NASCAR.
This is a dream drive like no other and with 50 laps behind the wheel, you’ll be driving a red hot stock car racing machine further than most pro drivers travel in a single championship race! Just imagine that feeling when, in full race gear, you fire the mighty V8 engine into life, slam the pedal hard to metal and unleash 500 horsepower of dream machine out onto Gateway Motorsports Park! As your lap speeds increase, your lap times will drop like a stone, with your pit crew urging you all the way through the radio in your helmet. You'll need to work hard to find that perfect racing line as you push Man and machine to the limit to take the checkered flag
Instructors will give you the racing theory but have you got the driving skills to put it all into practice? There's only one way to find out – stop dreaming and start driving as you take the ultimate challenge at Gateway Motorsports Park.
Hear the V8 engine roar as you power around Gateway Motorsports Park and get a taste of what it is like to be a pro racing driver. Feel the excitement of sitting behind the wheel and passing the other drivers on the track. All cars are actual race cars previously used in the NASCAR Nextel Cup, including the Chevrolet Monte Carlos, Pontiac Grand Prix, Ford Taurus and Dodge Charger.
Newly re-opened for the 2012 season, Gateway Motorsports Park is a 1.25 mile oval track that’s a firm favorite with the drivers who race there, thanks to its unique shape and different degrees of banking in each corner. Turns 1 and 2 have characteristics similar to New Hampshire Motor Speedway while Turns 3 and 4 are similar to Phoenix International Raceway and the track’s egg shape mimics the legendary Darlington Raceway.
Drivers must be aged 18 years and over and have a valid driver's licence. All racing suits, helmets and safety equipment are provided.
