What do you get when you cross monster construction machines, 21 acres of dirt and a purpose-built heavy duty playground? The answer is probably the most fun you've had since you were a kid! Perfect for enthusiasts of all ages, this unique construction-themed adventure puts you in the driver's seat of all those bright yellow, earth-moving machines you've always longed to drive.
Get to grips with a top of the range CAT 312 Excavator as you dig some serious dirt and pioneer your way around the ultimate heavy duty playground, full of fun-packed challenges and obstacles including a giant game of bowling. (Be warned: Many of these activities cause a serious amount of laughter). Next up, it's time to operate a skid steer loader, also known as a “Bobcat” and you'll have the opportunity to take on the mighty ‘Skid Steer Rat Maze Course.'
This is a truly fantastic way to experience the earth moving power of heavy diggers in a safe and fun environment. Take home a commemorative hard hat and memories to last a lifetime.
You'll have the opportunity to learn from instructors with years of experience in real-world construction applications, on all types of commercial job sites teaching you how to safely and effectively operate these powerful earthmoving machines.
This experience takes place on regular weekends throughout the year.
You’ll be paired with an instructor who is also an experienced heavy equipment operator. In addition to being OSHA certified and trained to teach the subtle art of heavy equipment operation, each professional instructor uses a step by step training method that quickly allows you to get comfortable in the machine. By the end of the session, you’ll know what to expect and how to make the machine respond to your movements.
After putting on your hard hat and visibility vest, it’s time to ‘clock-in’ and get to work. Instructors then assist you in getting safety acclimatized to the machines you are going to drive, going over each of the machine’s controls one more time and answering any questions that may arise.
Next up, it’s the moment you’ve been waiting for as you enjoy two hands on sessions, driving the equipment, digging holes and living out all those childhood fantasies! During your adventure, you’ll also get to follow a variety of exciting purpose-built challenge courses full of fun and games including a tire stacking obstacle and a giant game of bowls.
Your experience will take place in groups; each participant will have their own machine and instructor.
