If moving mountains of mud, bulldozing boulders and digging and dumping some serious dirt sounds like your idea of fun, you'll be in construction heaven as you get to grips with some of the mightiest earth-movers around.
This mud-slinging, heavy-duty adventure is probably the most fun you'll ever have in Vegas as you slide behind the wheel of some of the biggest construction machines around and re-live those childhood days of digging in the dirt. On this day out to remember, you'll get to climb into the cab of two mighty construction beasts as you take the controls of both a Caterpillar Track-Type Bulldozer and 315CL Hydraulic Excavator.
Your experience begins with a safety and training orientation session designed to familiarize yourself with the equipment, including an in-cab lesson in both machines. Next up, it's time for some warm up exercises to get you digging and dragging like a champ before you put your skills to the test on a giant obstacle course. From Excavator Basketball to pushing gigantic tyres, digging gigantic trenches to stacking 2,000 pound tyres, you'll enjoy a separate side-splitting session in two of the mightiest construction machines around.
Perfect for big kids of all ages, this once-in-a-lifetime construction construction adventure will leave you grinning from ear to ear.
You'll have the opportunity to learn from instructors with years of experience in real-world construction applications, on all types of commercial job sites.
This experience can be enjoyed all year round, with three sessions scheduled daily at 10, 12 and 2pm.
You will drive both a CAT Track-Type Excavator and Hydraulic Excavator. For each machine you operate, you will follow the below itinerary:
Safety Orientation
You’ll start each session with a quick overview of the safety procedures that you are required to follow before you are fitted for your authentic neon yellow vest and hardhat!
In Cab Orientation
Next up, you’ll be seated at the helm of a giant earth mover as instructors walk you through every lever and button that you need to know in order to maneuver the machine. After just a short time of in-cab training, you will have the confidence it takes to get to the business of play.
Warm Up Exercises
You’ll take part in a series of warm up exercises to get you digging like a champ. You will be connected via headset to an instructor at all times so that you can operate smoothly, under the watchful eyes of our crew. From here you will be digging, trenching, pushing, and dragging your haul around the lot in no time.
Activities
Now that you’re a pro at the basic operation of the machine, staff will guide you through a series of activities to test your skills. Ever played a game of “Excavator Basketball,” or built and ridden your own “Bulldozer Teeter-Totter?” Well, after this experience, you can say you have.
Freetime
Just like recess at school, it’s time to set you loose. Tear, dig, rip, claw, grind, and drive to your heart’s content (under the watchful eye of your instructors, of course). Is there something you’ve always wanted to see these machines do, up close, and personal? Well here’s your chance during the free time segment of the experience. If you don’t have sore cheeks from smiling, and tired abdominal muscles from laughing after this phase of the game, then you’re not trying hard enough!
Award Celebration
You worked hard and have proven your skills behind the controls of America’s most powerful machines. Now it’s time to celebrate with an official Certificate of Completion, and a photo opportunity to commemorate your achievement.
