Get behind the wheel of an AC Cobra for some searing hot laps around a professional race track.
Discover the thrill of driving one of the most exciting racing cars for the last 50 years around a specialist high performance track, under the guidance of veteran race drivers. Explore the performance and handling of one of the great American muscle race cars and experience the unique sensation of traveling at speed in an open cockpit car to the soundtrack of a roaring V8 engine.
Dedicated instructors will guide you all the way on this half day adventure that puts you behind the wheel of an awesome AC cobra, an exact replica of the famous Cobras used in the 60s. Combining racing theory and practical instruction, with a focus on maximizing your time behind the wheel, this Cobra driving adventure will leave you grinning from ear to ear.
Everything you need for a great day is supplied including driving suits, beverages and even sunscreen. In car cameras are installed in every car so you can re-live your experience with family and friends, time after time. Customers with no experience of driving a manual transmission can be trained on the day for an additional $50.
All cars have large, comfortable cockpits and are among the fastest and best handling school cars presently available in North America. Inside the SCCA safety approved roll cage-protected cockpit you will feel totally comfortable while you are on the track.
Driving takes place on regular pre-scheduled dates throughout the year.
Itinerary
- 1/2 hour orientation session
- Get fitted into suit and helmet
- One demonstration session, lapping the track with an instructor driving
- 3 x 15 minute session
- Debrief and graduation ceremony
During your session, you will be guided by an instructor from the right seat or a pace car.
This is not a comprehensive school program. It is intended for those who just want to experience the car. You will get to drive around the racetrack at speed with an instructor guiding you to ensure you get the most from the experience.
