Learn the art of go karting

Get ready for the ultimate day learning the high octane, high speed sport of go karting. Go kart racing was developed in Europe to train the top race drivers in the world and provided the training ground for F1 champions including Schumacher, Ayrton Senna and Andretti.

Now it's your turn to slide behind the wheel of a professional class, state of the art go kart, capable of over 50mph. Learn expert racing techniques from seasoned veterans who have won karting championships world wide as you discover the basics of kart control, side by side racing, how to find the perfect racing line and much, much more.

Imagine the thrill, as seated on the starting grid, you rev your engine and roar down the track for some high octane, wheel to wheel racing. Feel your adrenaline rise as you navigate your kart through the twists and turns of the track, accelerating to top speed along the straights.

Whether you think you're the next Michael Schumacher or just want to kick back and unleash your inner speed demon, go karting really is the most fun you can have on four wheels!

  • Learn, practice and develop the fundamentals of Racing
  • Full day of high speed fun and expert instruction
  • 90 minutes actual racing time
  • 270cc engine with a top speed of 50mph
  • No experience required
  • Classes limited to 30 students
  • Minimum age 8 years and minimum height 4' 11"
  • Maximum height 6'6” and weight 250lbs

This popular form of motorsport is patterned after endurance sports car racing like 24 hours of Le Mans, the Daytona Rolex and the Sebring 12 hours of Endurance.

You will experience a wide array of thrills, including planning strategy, racing wheel-to-wheel at 45 mph, and hopefully, being part of a winning team. Driving gear (suits, helmets, gloves, neck collars) are all available for rental on the day, if you don't have your own.

This experience takes place on regular dates throughout the year.

- Registration at 7.30am

- Classroom session, learning new racing techniques

- Track walk with experienced instructors

- Apply your new knowledge in a short race

- Typically finishing at around 2.15pm
