Nestling in the foothills of the incredible Catskill Mountains lies the picturesque city of Oneonta - known as the "city of the hills" - and this is your launch point as you begin a fantastic flight of fancy in a hot air balloon. Soar high above the treetops letting the thermals carry you towards the magnificent mountain range and gasp in awe at the fabulous views below.
The only sound will be the burner as it roars into life and the wind pushing you ever higher into the clouds. Far below the terrain turns from gently rolling hills, to dense forests and ever onwards to majestic snow capped mountains. This is a hot air balloon experience like no other and will leave you with memories to last a lifetime. After a gentle landing toast the dawn or sunset with a glass of chilled champagne and bask in the memory of an adventure in the skies.
There can be no better way of seeing upstate New York and the surrounding magical Catskill Mountains than from a hot air balloon. As the seasons change so will the views, but one thing remains the same - this is a unique and totally awesome way of seeing one of the most beautiful places on earth!
Sunrise and sunset flights take place year round, seven days a week. Please give us a minimum of two weeks notice to book your flight.
