Escape from the norm with a hot air balloon ride over the scenic Sonoran Desert preserve in the North Phoenix, Scottsdale and Arizona areas. Take a privileged peak at the desert’s abundant native wildlife as you watch coyotes, roadrunners and jack rabbits scamper below. Drink in panoramic vistas across a dramatic landscape and see from the air the exciting contrasts between the arid desert and lush golf courses, palm trees, and swimming pools. Every season holds a special charm which means there’s always something new to discover by hot air balloon.
Finish your adventure with the traditional first flight ceremony and complimentary Champagne toast.
Pregnant women and people with pre-existing lower back problems should not ride. Children, 5 years and older, must keep both feet on the basket floor, and should be tall enough to see over the side of the basket. All passengers must be able to stand unassisted in the balloon.
Sunrise flights take place all year round, seven days a week. Ballooning is heavily weather dependent and may be postponed in adverse conditions.
Itinerary: Allow 3-4 hours for your entire experience:
- Meet 30 minutes prior to sunrise
- Pre-flight briefing
- Layout and rigging of the balloon
- Balloon flight time approx 1 hour
- Retrieval and pack up
- Champagne celebration
Very easy to make arrangements for the hot air balloon ride. I was surprised. Was a delightful exerience. The entire family enjoyed the ride.
