Show someone what it's like to soar like a cloud in a graceful hot air balloon and gain an unforgettable bird's eye view over the dramatic changing landscape, just a stone's throw from the city of Atlanta.
From your privileged vantage point, you'll look down on an ever-changing canvas of color and light and witness local landmarks including Stone Mountain, Kennesaw Mountain, the Atlanta skyline and more. See the start of the Appalachian and Blue Ridge Mountains as they snake their way into the distance and take in the true immensity of Lake Sidney Lanier, with its 30,000 acres of crystal clear waters. Catch a glimpse of the occasional deer running below you or fly with a red-tail hawk or the large cranes and blue herons that inhabit the abundant local lakes, ponds and marsh areas. Atlanta by air is breathtaking, and an experience that will never be forgotten.
For safety purposes while getting an aerial view of Atlanta, hot air balloon rides have certain restrictions on who may or may not safely participate in this type of journey. In order to travel hot air balloon rides in Atlanta, passengers should be aged 6 years or over and should not weigh more than 270lb. All passengers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Sunrise and sunset flights take place year round, seven days a week. Flights launch at sunrise or two hours before sunset. Please give us a minimum of two weeks notice to book your flight.
Please note, ballooning is heavily weather dependent and may be postponed in adverse conditions. In this case you will be contacted to reschedule at a future time that is convenient for you.
Allow three hours for your entire experience:
- Meet 30 minutes prior to sunrise or two and a half hours prior to sunset depending on your flight time
- Pre-flight briefing
- Layout and rigging of the balloon
- Balloon flight time approx 1 hour
- Retrieval and pack up
