Your mission should you choose to accept it, is to fly a Marchetti SF260 for its real military purpose. Spend the day at Flight Training school with the experts where you'll learn the ropes with former fighter pilots. Discover what it's like to engage in an actual dog fight as you take the controls of a real fighter plane.
Start your day with a briefing covering everything you need to know before climbing into the cockpit for the really fun part! Reach for the skies where you'll practise up to 6 maneuvers actually used by the military today. You'll be in control of an aircraft capable 260mph and +6 G forces as you carve through the air against the stunning backdrop of the Gulf of Mexico. Once you've mastered your skills, you'll be placed in a simulated combat scenario that's as close as it gets to the real thing. Deploy your winning moves and lock on your target in an amazingly realistic dogfight.
Nothing will compare to the sensation of flying a real fighter plane. Do you have what it takes?
You'll learn basic Air Combat Maneuvers in a program that lasts a full day. The experience includes a tactical mission with 5-6 dogfights. You'll use real military aircraft including the SIAI Marchetti SF260, under the guidance of licensed fighter pilot instructors. This extraordinary adventure provides the chance to experience the thrill and adrenalin of flying a light attack fighter in air-to-air combat. The only thing that is not real are the bullets. Fully briefed, you will climb into the aircraft alongside your instructor and you will be in control of the aircraft as you engage in air to air dogfights. Every maneuver is recorded during your flight and the tapes are yours to keep.
Flying is weather dependent and there is also a risk of air sickness. If you are prone to motion sickness, this experience may not be for you.
