Do I need to be a certain standard for a lesson?
No, all artists are just as comfortable with beginners as they are with professionals.
What happens after I’ve booked my lesson?
You will receive a confirmation e-mail, confirming all the details which you can add to your google calendar. You should also message the artist to say Hi, let them know your goals and what sort of standard you are.
Do I need a microphone?
In an ideal world yes. However, if you don't have one it's not an issue.
What connection speed is required?
Both upload and download speeds of at least 8mb/s. We do recommend using an Ethernet cable as it’s not only about the speed of the connection, the stability is also important to a good quality stream.
What devices are supported?
We support both Chrome and FireFox unfortunately Internet explorer and Safari aren’t currently.
Can I have a lesson on my tablet or phone?
We support all Android devices, however we're working on iPad’s and iPhone’s!
What if I’m late for a lesson?
The artist will be at the camera for the full lesson, so even if you’re late you can get started at any point.
Can I talk to my teacher before the lesson?
Yes, you should message your teacher before the lesson to discuss what you want to learn and what your goals are.
What if the connection breaks down?
If an artist’s connection breaks down, as unlikely as it is, you can get in touch with us or the artist to re-arrange.
Can I change my lesson time after I’ve booked it?
Yes, we need 48 hours’ notice; a lot of artists are constantly touring which makes re-arranging tricky. Just send us an e-mail at email@example.com and we’ll do our best!
