Spend the ultimate day at Fighter Pilot Training School and learn the expert maneuvers needed to carry out your very own military dogfight.

Slice the air at the controls of a mighty Marchetti SF260 and discover actual tactics taught by the military. Find out what its like to be a trainee fighter pilot before deploying your winning skills in one of the most realistic simulated aerial combat situations money can buy.

Our instructors, both military and civilian, have enviable credentials, including former Air Force fighter pilots, Navy and Marine Corps, as well as graduates of Red Flag and the Navy Fighter Weapons School.

Take to the skies in a formidable aircraft, capable of 260mph and +6 G-forces and see what it's like to be in a state of the art fighter plane as it is used for its real military purpose.

With your hands on the controls you will execute a minimum of six combat engagements. Your flight will also be recorded from inside the cockpit and reviewed in a flight debriefing for you to take home at the end of the day.

This is without doubt one of the most exciting adventures available today. A dream come true for every budding Top Gun pilot.

Duration
You should plan to be at the airfield for at least half a day.

Guests
Guests may sit in on the briefing and watch as you take off and land. Missions are conducted approximately 25 miles from the airfield so guests will be unable to view the actual flight.

Restrictions
Pilots must weigh less than 250 lbs and stand no taller than 6' 7".

Number of people in Session
There are just two participants in each class.

This is my first time flying. Is that OK?
Yes!

Do I need to own any special equipment?
No. All equipment will be provided at no additional cost.

Will I be in control at all times?
No. The instructor will fly the plane during take-off and landing.

Cancellation/Rescheduling Policy
With at least 120 days notice, you can cancel the fighter pilot experience to switch to something different on the Great American Days website. Inside the 120 days, there is at least 10% penalty fee. Within 30 days, there is at least 20% penalty fee. To reschedule your date, there may be a penalty fee as well. Full refund for the package is allowed 7 days after purchase of the Great American Days voucher, as long as the date has not been booked.
